What is the difference between misting and fogging?

Misting = coarser droplets (30-80 microns), used for OUTDOOR COOLING via evaporation (patios, restaurants). Fogging = ultra-fine droplets (5-30 microns), stays airborne longer, used for HUMIDIFICATION (greenhouse, poultry, textile), DUST SUPPRESSION, EVENT SPECIAL EFFECTS (ground-fog, haze). HP misting runs 70-150 bar; standard fogging runs 3-10 bar for low-pressure systems and 70+ bar for dry-fog.

How much temperature drop can an outdoor mist system achieve?

In dry air (40-50% RH): 10-15 degC drop. In humid air (70-80% RH): 3-6 degC drop. Hyderabad April-June dry heat: typical drop 8-12 degC within 2-3 minutes of system activation. Combined with ceiling fans for air movement, effective cooling zone extends 3-5 metres from mist ring. Our 70-bar systems use 0.15mm anti-drip nozzles for drip-free operation.

What nozzles do you use for mist and fog systems?

Outdoor cooling (HP 70-150 bar): brass-chrome or SS-316 anti-drip impulse-valve nozzles, 0.15 / 0.20 / 0.30 mm orifice, 10/24 UNC thread. Greenhouse foggers: PP + Delrin 4-way or 6-way spinner heads, 7-80 LPH flow. Poultry fogging: SS-304 anti-clog nozzles. Event ground-fog: water-glycol compatible, CO2-cooled chamber. DJ haze: ultrasonic + heater-pump, water-glycol fluid.

Can I use my mist system year-round in Hyderabad?

Yes with 2 modes. SUMMER (Mar-Jun): cooling mode, full-pressure 70-150 bar, 100% nozzle activation, 15-20 sec ON / 90-120 sec OFF cycles. MONSOON (Jun-Sep): humidistat-controlled, only runs when RH <60%. WINTER (Nov-Feb): rare use; our timer-controller can disable the system. For greenhouse / poultry it runs year-round on humidistat feedback.

Do you handle installation and after-sales service?

Yes. Full turnkey: site survey (free within Hyderabad GHMC), 3D nozzle-layout CAD, pump + piping + nozzle supply, trenching + wall-fixing, electrical panel + humidistat / timer wiring, commissioning + user training. AMC (annual maintenance): nozzle de-scaling (quarterly), filter replacement (half-yearly), pump oil-change (yearly), impulse-valve O-ring replacement (yearly). Pan-India service through courier spares + remote commissioning.

What water quality is required for HP misting?

HP mist systems require sediment-free, low-TDS water to prevent nozzle clogging + pump wear. Minimum: 5-micron sediment filter + 1-micron final filter. Preferred: softened water (<100 ppm hardness) or RO permeate (<50 ppm TDS). We include a 2-stage filter + optional softener + RO unit in every quote. Nozzle de-scaling tablets (citric-acid soak) are also supplied for monthly cleaning.
