What tool steels do you use for die and mold tooling?

D2 (cold-work die steel, 58-62 HRC after hardening) for blanking + piercing dies. H13 (hot-work steel) for die-casting, forging, press-tools under thermal cycling. OHNS (oil-hardening non-shrinking) for general tooling. M2 / M35 HSS for cutting tools, broaches, reamers. P20 pre-hardened for mold bases + inserts. Carbide (K10, K20) for high-wear cutting edges. Steels from Bohler, Assab, Hitachi, Uddeholm.

What crimping jaw and crimping tool types do you make?

Do you provide tool proving, sampling and FAI reports?

Yes. Press tools get on-site trial on 60T / 110T / 150T mechanical + hydraulic presses with first-article dimensional inspection. Injection mold inserts trial on 90T / 180T / 350T IMMs with sample-piece report. Crimping tools include 20-piece crimp-pull-test. All tooling delivered with FAI report, material cert, heat-treatment cert, hardness-test cert, and inspection drawing.

Can you repair / regrind existing dies, molds and tooling?

Yes. We regrind blanking + piercing die punches, resharpen broaches + reamers, repair weld + remachine damaged mold cavities, re-case-harden tooling after wear, re-polish mold cavities to texture spec, replace worn collet jaws, re-nitride crimping jaws. Typical turnaround: 3-10 days depending on condition. Economic alternative to new-build when geometry is salvageable.
